Try not to over-commit - it’s best to underestimate the time you have, rather than overestimate. That will just lead to frustration. Try for just 10 minutes and slowly increase that time
Make it a priority for that day - and let family and friends know you have a commitment that can’t be canceled
Before you start the online programme, view the ‘how to’ video first so you will get the most out of the programme
Be patient with yourself. Some people believe tai chi can be learned in a couple of weeks. However, it will take time to relearn how the body moves, how we think and how we respond.
Learning and practicing Tai Chi is often referred to as being on a journey, and everyone’s path is different. The most important thing to remember is to Breathe. Relax. Enjoy.
