This is a fabulous short form, that has a variety of different stepping patterns and familiar postures learned for the 5 and 10 Forms. This combination of those two Forms make for a challenging yet simple routine. An extra challenge is to finish the Form from your start position. All traditional tai chi forms travel in many different directions, with the intent of cultivating consistent stepping patterns which will return you to the starting point.

Once you have practiced the 10 Form, it is time to challenge the brain by reversing the postures, commencing on the right side with Repulse Monkey, then right Brush Knee and so forth, and completing the Form in this mirror image sequence.
