Shibashi Set 1
Shibashi is a series of eighteen different movements repeated between three and six times. Movements are flowing, soft and continuous, encouraging good posture and abdominal breathing. Relaxation and releasing stress are the main focus of these exercises. 'Shibashi' literally means 'eighteen' and comes under the umbrella of Qigong, which means 'energy work'. Shibashi is a relatively new set of exercises, developed in the 1980s to improve general health and well being through simple movements.
